John Robertson has 30 years of experience in commercial real estate accounting. Having joined Moody Rambin in 2002, John has oversight of all accounting functions including financial reporting on both GAAP and Tax basis for the Development, Retail, and Residential arms of Moody Rambin as well as the Parkside Capital Land funds. His understanding of operations and systems creates efficiencies and enables timely and accurate reporting to the partners in a portfolio of just over one hundred entities.
John’s career in real estate began with Trammell Crow Company in 1984. His focus on the accounting needs of partners and clients contributed to his professional success and promotions within the company. As Regional Controller, he had complete financial responsibility for the Houston and New Mexico business operations. This included consolidation of five commercial business lines, which combined, totaled twenty-five million in annual revenues. John’s responsibilities also covered the third party property management and leasing assignments which included financial reporting to fifty-eight owners with twenty million square feet and seventeen hundred tenants. John reported directly to the Chief Operating Officer and supervised an accounting department of twenty professionals and staff.
