Moody Rambin Volunteers at 2016 Annual Trash Bash

A few Moody Rambin employees and their families volunteered their Saturday to pick up trash at Terry Hershey Park as a part of the 23rd Annual Trash Bash event. Gloves, shirts and trash bags were provided to the group, as they made their way picking up trash along the wooded areas along Buffalo Bayou in Terry Hershey Park in West Houston.

Trash Bash® is the largest single day waterway clean-up event in the State of Texas. Once a year, thousands of volunteers gather along the Texas waterways to do their part in cleaning up the environment by participating in the statewide event to educate the public about the importance of our water resources – River, Lakes, Bays ‘N Bayous Trash Bash®.

Last year, nearly 4,400 volunteers participated in the 2015 Trash Bash®. They gathered 37.4 tons of trash, 1.3 tons of recyclable materials, and 434 old tires while cleaning 162 miles of shoreline.
